The world's longest bridge



Jiaozhou Bay Bridge is another mega construction by China. The bridge was constructed under the Jiaozhou Bay Connection Project. It is situated in east China’s Shandong province and connects Qingdao City in east China to the island of Huangdao. The length of the
bridge is approximately 26.7 kilometers, which is part of the 41.58 kilometers Jiaozhou Bay Connection Project. Guinness World Records considers the Jiaozhou Bay Bridge as the world’s largest bridge over water (combined length) at 41.58 kilometers. The six lanes roadway bridge began its construction in late 2007 and ended in early 2011. Jiaozhou Bay Bridge sees nearly 18,000 cars cross it every day since it was officially opened.
